Fair question.

As a strategic communications, operations, and fundraising consultant, I help teams clarify what they do and why it matters. I specialize in refining messaging, ensuring consistency, and advising on how to adapt to the needs of different prospects.

My philosophy is that how an organization speaks shapes how it works. Without a central message to rally around, it’s hard to attract supporters externally or even sustain excitement internally.

Since earning my BA in History and Political Science from Loyola University Chicago (2018), I’ve also earned professional certification as a CMOS copyeditor from University of Chicago (2021), and completed an MA in Strategic Communications for Public Interest from Fordham University (2022). Along the way, I’ve consulted for nonprofits of all sizes—leading capital campaigns, securing major gifts, rebranding organizations, building internal systems, and managing donor relations.

Currently, I’m focused on helping leaders in the psychedelic industry shape their narrative, expand public understanding, and secure funding to grow and protect the movement, its layered histories, and many pathways. You can explore some examples of projects and ideas currently inspiring me on my learnings blog or by following my LinkedIn.

When I’m not working, I enjoy letting my mind wander without an agenda. You can find me taking long walks in Central Park, curating music playlists, and capturing little moments to send home to the people I love. Sometimes these just-for-fun project surprise me—like when they end up in Axios or the New York Times. 🤪
