Content Creation
As an experienced writer with a background in research, summarizing, and client-facing communications, I can turn vague concepts into comprehensive and compelling written word.
I am actively involved in University of Chicago’s style/editing program, so I can ensure you that my drafts will have little to no errors or inconsistencies.
You won’t have to lift a finger; I will take care of eloquently fitting what you want to say into the amount of space you have to say it.

Online Research
Tip: if you’re in need of online research, someone with a degree in History and Political Science is a great choice. I have years of experience executing large swaths of research and accurately summarizing information in the form of concise profiles, briefs, and reports.
I am familiar with JSTOR, WealthEngine, DonorLead, Blackbaud, Raiser’s Edge, Quorum, Foundation Center, public records, and several other softwares. In other words: I know the in’s and out’s of digging deep on difficult-to-locate people or topics.

Copy Editing
Take it from someone who has consulted dozens of nonprofits and participated in University of Chicago’s editing certificate program: far too many opportunities for effective communication and meaningful connection are missed as a result of poor editing.
I have the power to fill this gap for you.
Your ideas must be portrayed by yours words. I will make those words sound so appealing—and read so effortlessly—that they drive your audience to take action.

I consulted for several nonprofit clients running capital campaigns. In this role, I was responsible for listening to my client’s goal(s) and then editing their fundraising mission statements, long-form materials, newspaper inserts, and mailings. Not only was I fixing technical errors, but I was also ensuring that the history and current landscape of their unique and vibrant cultures were captured.
Odd Jobs
I wear many hats. My experience as a consultant in the nonprofit industry has equipped me with the skills to work efficiently, enthusiastically, and effectively on any task handed to me.
Have an odd job? I can help! Whether you need assistance with oral-interview transcription, creating PowerPoints, organizing email campaigns, utilizing MailMerge, or inputting data, simply shoot me an email about what you need help with and we’ll work something out.
